1. OBJECTIVES:

Responsible for databases, database servers, ETL jobs, Golden Gate services, ODI to administer, monitoring, evaluate, upgrade systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for database creation, maintenance and administration functions for all database environments including database tuning, upgrading, patching…. Manage users & user rights on the database system
• Support for daily operation of Production and other departments in data mining and data manipulation
• Troubleshoot problems from users to identify root causes, solutions, testing and implementation of system relating to systems, servers, services and databases.
• Create new service request, follow, update Services Request to resolve problems, issues relating to databases.
• Log the problems about systems, services, databases and the solutions to them.
• Plan and implement security for systems, applications server and databases.
• Implementation database masking, database deductions, DB security.
• Implementation of backup systems for disasters, and recovery policy.
• Make reports about availability and capacity of systems, databases and applications on a weekly basis and as requested. 
• Setup, configure and monitor operations of systems and databases, etl jobs, tuning SQL command to ensure smooth operations with availability up to 99.9%.
• Plan and manage resources to ensure that the systems (core databases, data warehouse, …) and server to ensure availability, integrity and confidentiality.
• Plan and deploy auditing, security policy for databases and database servers. Administrate and monitor the database firewall system to protect the database, set up warnings and prevent data loss through the monitoring system.

3. REQUIREMENTS

• University degree, preferably in IT or technical areas.
• 3 years’ experience in IT system and database administrator positions, preferable in banking or financial business.
• 3-5 years of experiences in systems & databases administration.
• Experience in IT management positions are major plus.
• Working knowledge of Unix, Database skills.
• Administration on Linux, AIX operating systems.
• Experience with Oracle database, ETL data, and system DB installation.
• Working experience of Oracle, IBM, Microsoft product line.
• Practice with the complex cluster configuration based on Oracle RAC, MSSQL, MySQL, Postgre.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in resolving issues in mission critical environments.
